Look I

The key to creating this striking black diamond look began with a flawless black even base. This was achieved in three steps, first with the application of black kohl pen to the eyelids and waterline. Black Aquacolor paint was then used to achieve coverage of the rest of the models face and neck. Finally, working on the upper body and arms I used Kryolan Color Spray. This is a great product and although usually used in the styling of hair I found it to be very versatile and also super easy to wash off. During application of the Kryolan Color Spray I took extra care ensuring the space was well ventilated by opening the windows, the spray was kept away from the models face and several breaks were taken. Once the flawless black canvas was created I added texture using both silver glitter spray and loose glitter.

Look II

Kryolan Color Spray in gold was used to cover the models hands. Against the strong black base the luminescent gold touch creates a striking effect and one that will definitely catch the eye of the viewer. I really enjoyed experimenting with new products, textures and techniques.

Look III

The final look is my absolute favourite! For this look I once again sprayed the models hands with gold Kryolan Color Spray. While the colour was still wet, a handprint was created in the models face. One thing I really like about this look is the positioning of the handprint and how it highlights the cupid’s bow. I also appreciate the unique nature of this look as I wouldn’t be able to recreate the exact same look again.
